Time Trials
Time trials are held the Saturday prior to the first meet of the season and they are for ALL swimmers (except mini hawks). At this meet only, swimmers swim each legal stroke for practice, experience and seeding purposes. They establish a baseline time for each swimmer for every stroke they swim and the results give each swimmer a time upon which they can build and reach a personal best time. It also serves as a practice for our officials and volunteers. Yes, volunteers are needed for this event and they need practice too! Swimmers who cannot attend time trials can swim each legal stroke at the first B Meet.
